Non-medical in-home care services provided through Medicaid-managed health plans
Senior Independence Home Care LLC provides non-medical home care across Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, and Monroe counties. Our team offers caregiver staffing and practical guidance through the referral process.
Molina Healthcare or Wellcare by Meridian: If you have authorized in-home services, tell your assigned care manager that you would like Senior Independence Home Care to be considered as your provider. Ask them to contact our office to confirm participation for your specific plan, service authorization, and staffing availability.
The Senior Alliance (TSA) and MI Choice: If you are enrolled in MI Choice through TSA, ask your supports coordinator to discuss selecting Senior Independence Home Care for your authorized services. TSA is a waiver agency; the MI Choice referral process is separate from health-plan membership.
Your case manager can reach us at 248-716-4818 or fax referral documents to 248-869-6050. We will review the approved services, schedule, location, and caregiver fit before confirming a start date. Personal care, homemaking, in-home respite, and community living supports must follow the authorized care plan.
Interested in caring for a family member? Ask your coordinator whether the specific program permits that arrangement. Caregiver qualifications, employment requirements, and program approval must be met.
Not yet approved? Call our office for guidance on contacting the appropriate health plan or waiver agency. Coverage, enrollment, services, and hours depend on program eligibility and authorization.
